Undertaking a Research Topic

After being handed a little blue book which would soon become my bible and way of life for the next few months, a serious brainstorming session was undertaken to decide on a route for this project. I know the area i want to study is in 3D and the outcome will be an interface, either paper or interactive. However, gathering a starting point is now my concern
